We are a not-for-profit, producer-led organisation committed to the principles of Extended Producer Responsibility. We exist to further the development of a more circular economy for packaging in the UK. We represent the collective interests of producers and assist in fulfilling their EPR obligations to collectively redefine recycling. By enhancing recycling rates and innovating packaging design, we can achieve maximum resource efficiency with minimal environmental impact.
Leading the way to a
sustainable packaging future
UK Packaging PRO has been appointed by Pack UK to be the producer responsibility organisation for the UKs EPR scheme. We work closely with partners across various industries and sectors to achieve the recycling targets set out in the UK EPR. We deliver functions delegated by PackUK to optimise innovation and investment across the packaging value chain. This initiative introduces a data-led system to calculate recycling obligations and fees for the full lifecycle of packaging, from production to waste management.
